Being miserable when there is no real problems

Open wounds go untreated

Pain falls like rain on windows

Depression wells up like lava

boiling over

When happiness is as abundant as

flowers

Gratitude falls short of desire

as reality is blurred by dreams

Sleepless nights of fear and worry

Wasted effort like fire

Looking for a balances solution

To a life that has no equation

Fighting desperately to prove

we are in control

Of a destiny I don't believe in

Thinking too much of a self

I like less of

Destroying my peace a day

at a time

Losing time to be happy

To live is to love and to

Love is to feel

But feeling the pain is double sided

Like every knife has its handle

I hold on too tight to the blade.
