Medusa's gaze
All those who are trapped in her snare,
fall victim to her gaze,
her face that once was beautiful,
is now in the past,
Athena's wrath and punishment was great indeed,
and left poor Medusa a hideous fiend,
her once captivating eyes,
now only haunt those who peek,
their minds frozen and flesh harden,
Medusa's gaze takes all pray,
and leave them a stony statue,
as watch guards over her hellish lair.
