let me go, before I slide into the darkness
capture the frailty, at last you are a witness
to this raging dragon breathing fire upon you
you can love yourself as much as I said I do
but you cannot begin to creep away from me
I am consuming you, and into the fire I lead
you into my hands where I trap your eyes
excuse me while I front, within my disguise
cracked, blistered, and stitched within denial
I will wait for you to drink the poisoned vial
unfulfilled promises to take this danger away
you insist on making sacrifice for the hearsay
I am wasting away, while you await the verdict
all I can do is dream inside the crypt-poetic
walking around the circle of ice does nothing
but fulfill your stupidity while I am fire-breathing
taste the war from my lips, and bite the death
taking everything from me; my last dying breath
infinity is not enough, just some plea you ignore
while forever is everything, until they beg for more
no one will await for you, as you suspend in silence
and I forgive not the time we spent inhaling incense
sparked by misery, confusion, and all bitter hatred
with these last thoughts, I proclaim; hearts are dead
