There's no better escape than nature

To Nature Then

There’s this road I always take,
To a meadow by the lake
When in doubt or in distress,
In pain or in stress
This is surely the best escape

Sights there are aplenty,
as my mind leads me astray,
the score of bees buzzing,
and perfumes that come gushing,
all help me stay away

Reality! Always so much suffering
From nature then, I need reassuring
Lying on its lap, I observe and clap
Her soft caress unties every strap

The shows they are uplifting,
Taking me to ecstasy from hurting
The perfect pill then, is awakening
and listening to nature calling
