Christmas is a time to get together and be happy,
For talking, laughing, and game playing.
Bright red candy canes shining in the night,
While the Christmas ornaments twinkle so bright.
Snowmobiles rumbling as we go over the bunny jumps,
Kids playing pool in the basement.
Dice shaking as others play the Dice Game,
Singing Christmas songs is really lame.
The smell of the orange turkey is so disgusting,
The scent of Aunt Barb's delicious cheesy potatoes,
The tangy smell of oranges in mom's fruit salad,
The smell of wrapping paper filled the basement.
Fruit flavored candy canes taste so sweet,
French silk pie so chocolaty and rich.
Pumpkin pie covered with homemade French vanilla whipped cream, Grandma's and Grandpa's hot cocoa is so creamy and sweet.
Shaking dice to win gifts until the pile of gifts is gone;
We keep shaking dice to steal gifts from each other.
When we are done stealing gifts we open them,
Then we take time to trade them, some
People do not wont to trade there gifts and some do.
Upstairs we hear the Christmas songs sung by Charlie Pride,
Downstairs is blaring the song, Grandma Got Ran Over by a Reindeer,
Brian dresses up as Santa and passes out presents to all.
Jenny dresses up as Brian's little helper.
The kids, big and small, impatiently waiting for presents to appear, feeling Happy and joyful now that Christmas is hear.
Uncle Steve is always the funny one at Christmas,
We're thankful that Grandma Liz and Grandpa George are with us one more Christmas.
LuAnn brings happiness, Elaine brings joy,
Barb brings forgetfulness, Steve brings laughter and peace.
And Grandma And Grandpa brings love and tenderness to everyone they're Even the naughty ones, so mischievous.
I wish for my Cousin Jenny to have a good wedding,
I wish for LuAnn to get Married to her boy toy friend,
I wish for Elaine to never ever have to have Surgery again.
I wish for Grandpa and Grandma to have good health in the Upcoming year.
My wish for the world is that everybody gets along,
That wars all over the world would end and be no more.
That everybody would have enough food for the rest of their lives,
Finally that there will be peace in the world.
