Hurt
I hide it well,
Only letting the mask come off when,
I’m alone with no witnesses.
My friends are the only ones
Who know the pain you caused me,
Yet they still yell and say that I shouldn’t care about you;
That is the only time I don’t back down
From a fight, but they realize in that short
Time and the fire burning in my eyes;
That I will hurt them if they say one more word,
I just wish I could get rid of this hurt you left me
Within my heart, but I can’t no matter what I try,
I will always care for you even thought you don’t care for me
