As I walk this storied path,
The greenery is an amazing goliath,
Creepers and herbs so very abundant,
Thy bloom's hue an opaque candicant.

Wildlife is amassed over this scene,
Some of them endangered, no it's not a dream.
There's a family of ducks and rambunctious fowl,
Their nests hidden from the great horned owl.
~*~
The green serpent climbing the trees,
Slithers past a nest of honey bees,
Perched among the foliage,
Its camouflage appearance is an archimage.
~*~
As I step across the trail,
The sound frightens a flock of nested Common Quail,
Their flight feels me with bepraise,
As I gaze at all this Nature In Paradise.
