A poem about my Nanna

You wander round in your own little world
Many happy memories from being a girl
Of being at your house and having my tea
Of feeding your cat and sitting on your knee.
A pound for sweeties when you see me around
Watching Corrie in your slippers and nightgown
It lights up my heart when I see you in town
Your giggly laugh is a beautiful sound.
Sit having a drink in a local cafe
Telling your tales and passing the time of day.
Remembering you and Granddad together
Are happy thoughts I will treasure forever.
