Carry On

Poetry By: rebel
Poetry

This is about a girl who has a boyfriend, who is slightly depressed, and hardly recognises she loves him. In the end, she proves her love, and that she'll always stick by him.

I stood by you, close,

Brought warmth to the night,

Perhaps it was foolish,

Perhaps it was right.

All that I know,

Is that I'm here to stay,

I'm guessing you need me,

To light up your way.

For when it gets reckless,

And the pain is too strong,

I'll be your shoulder,

And you'll carry on.

I've been through the bad,

I'm ready for worse,

You won't have to feel,

This burdening curse.

Happiness will live,

And sadness will fall,

I know I'm in love with you,

Love is our end, our all.

And know that you've got me,

Till the end of time,

Promise you'll gain strength,

And I'll walk behind.
