I Kissed A Girl (And frankly, it was nothing special.)

Poetry By: rebel
Poetry

Thought I'd take a spin off that famous song by Katy Perry, 'I Kissed A Girl (And I Liked It)'. Also, I wanted to comment on teenager experimentation. You know how it goes. Just so as you know, this isn't a personal poem, more a commentary on society. I don't kiss girls, haha. Let me know what you think!

She stood there,

In the corner of the room,

Eyeing me up.

Felt impending doom.

My boyfriend away,

He couldn't see a thing,

She got closer,

My cheeks burning.

We were alone,

The others danced on.

She smiled at me,

Was this so wrong?

It happened then,

She laughed and blushed,

I could feel,

My lips were crushed.

I pulled away,

Like, what the hell?

My boyfriend turned,

Oh. Could he tell?

One thing was sure,

That wasn't my style.

Went to my man,

Bathed in his smile.

I'm sorry dear,

His kisses are better.

I'm going home.

And yes, I forget her.
