The Open Book

Poetry By: rebel

Okay, I recently found this poem at home, I must've written it when I was about 13. Anyway, it's another one of my "girl hurt" poems, I really get into them, lol. Tell me what you think.

My heart is like an open book,

It's pages left to dust,

Hoping that you, the reader,

Won't tear me in your lust.

This book goes on and on despite,

It's pages are now worn,

I'm left to waiting in the dust,

And open to your scorn.
