She fought with the world and her own demons... and won

The eyes that used to see
Have now become blind.
The lips that used to speak,
The words are hard to find.
The hands that used to touch
Have ceased to even feel.
The arms that used to hold
Are now cold and stiff like steal.
The heart that used to spin
Hides in shadows as if it weren't real.
Her soul was stolen from her,
The hope, the light, the feel.
Life stole the spark from her soul
And yet, life hasnt won.
Because even when she is so sad and low
She still wasnt done.
Slowly and painfully, she came back
Turning into who she used to be.
Her hope remained when all would doubt.
She'd laugh again, they would see.
Through all the tears and curses she fought.
She vowed to beat the pain.
Never give in, Never give up.
Not until the monster is slain.
Life was wrong and life lost.
Dont play games on the battlefield
And so here she stands today
Her vow is finally sealed.
Dancing and singing with joy
Her work was done.
She searched herself for pain
But, atlast, there was none.
