I Wake up with the sun,
Shining brightly in my face.
Although I feel the clouds,
They cover my embrace.
Even though I’m sad
I’ll put on my happy face.
I skulk over to the bathroom.
I think what a hard job.
I then begin with my make up.
I won’t stop until I see a different face.
My eyes are now bright, filled with shine.
I look deep but can no longer find myself.
Looking through my closet is no easy task.
I see the sweats and wish to put them on.
What would people think?
I can’t show up in sweats!
I finally find my name brand clothes.
Yes they will approve!
One more final look is all it took,
To find out I’m not who I really am.
