Can't you see me? (or is it too late?)
Sitting in the rain,
Can’t you see me?
Hiding beneath my sorrow and pain.
Can’t you hear me?
Sobbing for the people I lost,
Can’t you hear me?
Help seems to come at such a cost.
Can’t you see me?
Clothed by a pure white gown,
Can’t you see me?
Wearing an umbrella like a forgotten crown.
Can’t you hear me?
Left to the elements by those I trust,
Can’t you hear me?
Out here it’s impossible to adjust.
Couldn’t you see me?
When they all showed their hate,
Couldn’t you see me?
When not once in two weeks I ate.
Couldn’t you hear me?
Dying slowly in their hands,
Couldn’t you hear me?
Forever obeying their commands.
Couldn’t you see me?
When it was the most important time,
Couldn’t you see me?
As they committed their horrific crime.
Couldn’t you hear me?
I was crying out for someone,
Couldn’t you hear me?
Obviously not, because they won.
Can’t you help me?
Save me from the life I led,
Can’t you help me?
Or is it too late now I’m dead?
