Watching Earth tell the story,
The story of the seasons, day and night,
A wonderful sight to behold.
The smell of the fresh thunderstorm fills the air,
A multicoloured rainbow’s time is over and done,
Trees sigh happily in the sweet bliss of morning.
Piercing sunlight penetrates the Earth’s defences,
Satisfying those who see it as the sun’s favour,
Gradually lifting spirits of the oppressed and anxious.
Pure blankets of snow cover hard and frozen ground,
Fascinating flakes have endlessly twirled and swirled,
Baffling those who try to define them.
Terrifying animals and captivating children,
A cruel laugh resonates and Mother Nature is beaming,
Her curse set upon the world.
