When the world suffers,
I have a problem.
When somewhere, a natural calamity strucks,
I have a problem.
When there is global warming,
I have a problem.
When my country isn’t progressing,
I have a problem.
When my family, friends suffer,
I have a problem.
BUT………..
When there is a war,
I have more problems.
When somewhere, a man-made calamity strucks,
I have more problems.
When there is pollution,
I have more problems.
When there is corruption,
I have more problems.
When my country suffers,
I have more problems.
“ I HAVE SO MANY PROBLEMS ” —

THIS IS MY ONLY PROBLEM…..

Rio SU Kashyap:

Another good one. Gave it an "I Like It" vote.

Despite it's most serious (and depressing) theme, found it humorous. For it's irony and universality.

Happier trails,

Ed Bradley.

Thanx!!
I've written this poem when I was angry.
But the last lines came to my mind almost suddenly after completing the poem. Sometimes I feel like God has messaged these lines to my brain. Because they came just without thinking at all!!
This happens many times with me.
Thanx for the "I like It"

I liked this one too, though "Deprived" is still my favourite.

Thanx! for telling me its your favourite. Actually its the first poem I wrote for booksie and otherwise too.

This is so sweet and honest outburst of a curious child...

I agree with you honey and I am so worried for next generation who is living under so much pressure and fear....terrorism, War, poverty, drugs, global warming...u name it and everything exists as a dagger over all of our kids...i feel helpless and useless

Thanx! for commenting.
I too have this fear, but I think new generation will chalk out new ways,as of friends around me. They all, except boys, are so concerned about environment. I don't know about the rest.
