My four walls are sort of musty,

A simple kind of brown

But living in here,

You just can't feel low down

I have friends that like to visit

We all party right inside

Music, games, and laughter

You can hear from outside

But my friends quickly leave me

Important things they must attend

I'm left here with my music,

I just won't let the party end

My brown walls are always there

The best of friends to me

Never will they leave,

Or tell me what to see

But lately my shelter has not been so safe,

And these brown walls are starting to show,

Signs of small stains,

And the sorrows that live below

These four walls I cannot escape

They are all I have ever know

Dark, dry, and tattered

All I can see is what they have shown

But one day I hope to go astray,

Crumple my brown walls

And throw them away
