THIS IS A FICTIONAL POEM BUT IT'S TRUE FOR SOME PEOPLE.

The more money that I loan you, the more the situation gets worse.

I've loaned you five thousand bucks and I haven't been reimbursed.

I live on a budget and you're getting me into hot water.

You think you're not obligated to pay me back because you're my daughter.

Every time I ask you to pay me back, you hit the ceiling.

Borrowing money and not paying it back is stealing.

To be able to get by, there were several things I had to pawn.

I'm telling you for the last time that this situation can't go on.

Sometimes I can't even pay some of my bills because I'm so short.

If you don't pay me soon, I'll have no choice but to take you to court.

I'm about to go to the poor house, that's the situation that I'm in.

I was foolish to loan you money and I sure as Hell won't do it again.
