The human brain can outperform a million microchips -
It makes decisions, calculates and penned my poem scripts.
Impressive innovations - all were born within the mind -
Inventive thoughts enable us to elevate mankind.
Feelings, muddy waters, having benefits unclear -
Who needs pain or ecstacy - bereavement, joy or fear?
Couldn't women, men and children thrive without a heart?
Robots never cry - and Reason never falls apart.
Gazing at my lover's back and gentle curve of breast -
I, for one, would rather love than play a game of chess.
