I sit under the bright yellow sun,
Watching as the sun slowly creeps across the sky
I lay back lazily, knowing the day is done
Lying across the warm sand, the clouds above creep by
The sky slightly changes pigments, from a brilliant blue to a light pink
I slip into the soothing melody of the lapping of the waves upon the shore
The sun across the darkening sky continues to slink
The breeze starts to pick up, chilling me to the core
I watch as a sailboat slowly cruises past
The wind billows filling the sail
Sunlight momentarily blinds me as it reflects off the mast,
The sky is now a light pale
The stars start popping through sunset’s screen
The sky is now quickly getting very dark
Without my trusty flashlight, nothing would be seen
Exit the beach, and stride through the park
I pull out my keys
And unlock my car
The wind starts to rustle through the trees
This was the most amazing sunset by far
