this is what we do, we hide who we really are

I struggle within me
To find sanity
All of my so called friends are enemies
Lurking to assassinate the me with in
My blessing has become my sin
Rain drops covers my tears
Just as my inner strength overcomes my fears
A demon lurks with in
Separate from my flesh and soul
No inner voices to scold
Yet actions are terribly bold
Cringe looks of a sinister
Well groomed as any minister
Veil myself to hide my complexion
For my true identity is my confession
