I Called And You Answered.

It was dark and bleak, that night

when I fell on my knees and prayed.

My partner was violently ill, and I was

lost and alone, trying to help him through it.

I prayed to Allah the Most High and asked

Him to send me a sign that my partner and

I should be together - too many people had

been trying to break us apart and I was confused.

Allah the Most Merciful sent my partner an illness

that was most severe, and He sent me strength.

He sent me the patience to deal with it and the love

that I needed to help my partner through everything.

I called to you, oh Allah, and you answered me. Your

beautiful voice penetrated the darkness and brought

me light, patience and hope that I had not felt in many

a year - You showed me Your mercy and love, oh Allah.

So now I know that you have blessed my marriage, and

that you truly are the Most Gracious. I thank you for your

ever-forgiving nature and your unconditional love, and I

know now that I can call upon you to guide me always.
