To learn about the world I live in,
to understand its people, to love
them all as equal beings – that is
my wajid.
To remember Allah in all I do,
to pray to Him and call on Him in
times of need or joy – that is
my wajid.
To respect my family and my spouse,
to treat them with dignity and love, to
be strong and stand with them – that is
my wajid.
To raise my children in the way of Islam,
to be a modest, chaste and pious woman,
to wear the hijab and be strong in my faith –
that is my wajid.
To give to those in need, be it money or
be it my time, to help those who need it
most in this world, whoever they are – that is
my wajid.
To share my knowledge with the world and
to please Allah always, with a mind
that is pure and honest – that is my
wajid.
