Three years ago, we adopted a kitten found on our doorstep. My other cat went into a solitary confinement stage for many months because of her jealousy and anger. She is better now, thankfully. This was written for the Scholastic Writing awards and won and honorable mention. It's been revised recently, as it was written in seventh grade, and wasn't very good.
