In the shadows of one's mind he lurks.

Plotting,scheming, and manipulating are what he enjoys

He takes pride in his work; tearing friendships asunder,

planting treachery in allied minds.

Simple tasks for one so vile,

for one who has brought even lovers to their end.

Admist turmoil, blood, and tears,

you will see this fiend and you will see...

his joy

Very nicely done. I have felt that way many times in my life. It does tend to take on a personality of it's own.

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it :D
I actually was inspired to write this because of watching my friend preform "Othello" at his school. One of the best lines I think and one of the truest statements.
This is actually a part of a compliation piece I did, I'll post that up sometime later if I get a chance.

Greetings.

This is a very visual piece. You use lots of strong words. scheming, treachery, turmoil, all create a strong presence.

Though I must admit it doesn't seem to have any form of rhythm. It's something to look at I think since with a touch of tweaking this piece would suck the reader in and make want to read again and again.

As always jsut a thought

Greetings to you. Thanks for the compliment and you're right, it doesn't really have a form of rhythm to it...a bit of a problem now that I think of it. I may come back and work on the rhythm someday. thanks for the comment :D
