Ruminations on betrayal.

Are you the Brutus to my Caesar?
Are you the Judas to my Christ?
A usurper to the throne?
Tax Collector? What's the price?
You claimed to be my friend,
But my friend you are no longer.
I watch those friendly feelings die
As my spite for you grows stronger.
Vengeance is what I seek
For what you've done to me.
There are no words to speak;
Betrayal is all I see.
