There was a difference
between the pain
Of your death and of my blade
The force of your suicide hit
like a hurricane
And yet my razor
distracts me from my pain
You were only a child
And not the least bit wild
Nowhere near
the embrace of Death
And yet you still left
For the first time I cried
Red and clear tears
And wanted you to be here
But in the ground you lied
The hurt was too much
So I kept cutting again
You held my love
like no other man can
Using the other pain
as my crutch
To let go of you
To let go of the past
Wondering how you left
so goddamn fast
And yet destroying my heart
was the one thing you could do
I felt betrayed
Lost
I was jaded
Not paying attention
losing the battle I fought
As I collapse on the floor.
