Sad Eyes
Sadness fills her eyes
And in every tear she cries
Her heart hoping it would end
She can't release it to a friend
She holds the pain within her heart
Hoping someday that it would part
This sadness that hides her eyes
And she often wonders why
Not understanding, you criticize
And every time a little dies
Hoping soon that you would understand
The pain she's experienced first hand
She's holding on with all her might
Hoping to make it through the night
Scared and all alone in the dark
She cuts her arm and leaves a mark
She feels as if she's about to lose
Hoping that she's able to choose
Between the pain that scars her heart
And the life she's about to part
On her bed she begins to slip
Feeling clam as her eyes dip
She takes her one last breath
Then grabs the hand of death
