Love of My life

the loss of a loved one so dear hurts so much

It is a bright morning

Wonderful birds in the sky singing

Men and women in a rush moved

All in glorious apparel adorned

As I looked out my window

All I could think about

Were his beautiful eyes.

His beautiful eyes

Like a covered lens into paradise

Rotating amazingly in its socket

Reminding me of the Creator

Whose works I'm admiring

I stopped to remember and oh

There were his gorgeous lips.

His gorgeous lips

Standing out beautifully

Like the sun on a bright day

Boldly covering his white teeth

And protecting his tongue like a sheath

As he opens them to talk

It's like the opening show of a classical

But then I realize,

I'm getting too deep.

Now I want to clear my thoughts

And focus on things present

But I can't let go

His memories still live on

Shivers run through my body

Tears begin to fill my eyes

The love of my life is gone

Never to be back

The cold hands of death

Took away the love of my life

For how long can I whine?

I wish I could turn back the hands of time

Without having to lose a dime

I need to move on

I must move on

But what is the guarantee

The magic could happen again

Oh, how I wish it was all just a dream.
