Forget, remember, forgive, why?

Poetry By: sasarahrah
Poetry

You want to forget, but you want to remember. You want to forgive, but why would you?

In class the past few weeks I've been writing poems as I think of lines to start with, I'll post all of them.

You want to forget,

you want to remember.

You want to forgive,

why would you?

You want to forget,

the pain,

the hurt,

the lies.

You want to remember,

the good times,

the laughter,

the smiles.

You want to forgive,

why would you?

You want to forget,

me,

us.

You want to remember

who you were,

who they are.

You want to forgive,

but why would you?
