I don’t know if I’ve done you justice
Or helped you on your way
Please know that I love you
More than I can say
The last few years have sure been rough
I’m so damn proud of you
It’s been so hard on all of us
Yet together we’ve pulled through
I hope you know I always try
The very best I can
Somewhere down this twisted road
I pray you’ll understand
Sometimes the best that you can do
Is to play the cards you’re dealt
If you learn anything at all
Remember how you felt
Your heart will always guide you
With the vision from your soul
Learn to trust the voice inside
Through times unending roll
I’ll always be a part of you
As you’ll be part of me
The bond of a fatherto his sons
Through all eternity
