As I leave my house, and grab my gear
It’s my protection, it’s what I wear
I look to the sky, and I start to stare
Like every day, of every year
I talk to God, and bend his ears
I say what I say, and hope he hears
And asked him to protect, and give his care
To the ones that I, hold most dear
In the event, I am not there
I feel upset, I have some fear
For I could not, fully bear
To see my girls, shed a tear
