Post traumatic pins of horror

stab at retreating white skin

Each designed to pierce

then burrow deep within

Only an ill lit candle

travels the dark of this palace

Last shudder departs,

wax tastes the contract of malice

Beyond the pane

nocturnal eyes glare wonder

Snap of light

...........awoken by delayed thunder

Oh my god.
Brutally descriptive and morose! I felt every word!
Intense poem with no happy faces in the blood lines.
