I used to assemble rainbows

distribute them as 'easy to build flat packs.

Once I would take great care

in creating award winning snow flakes.

There was a time

my ability to conjure a storm was legendary.

Many moons ago

I provided the earth with its own satellite.

And only yesterday

my pastels were empty as a new shade of rose appeared.

Today my chalks of creativity

lie destroyed through frustration.

To view my works in progress

you may note a 'don't give a shit attitude.

The designs I had for your planet

will gather fine shaving of dust.

I slowly rock on my chair of timber

exhaling the finest blend of tobacco.

Happy in my decision

to let the petulant teenager, that is mankind

tag, vandalise and destroy my portfolio

Ha! Love the image this conjures up and who can blame him. Nicely worked poem.

Wow! That is one scary thought, Him sitting back. But like Irwin says, who would blame him! Great piece of writing
