I ask you feel the tears that soak this note

I believe they speak the words that fail me

Since the slammed door and your dramatic exit

I only hear my pulse calling your return

I accept the blame or what ever it takes

Just consider our past, our history

Think over again the good times

Relive those smiles that you wore

I see the tears are now dry

But look within the smudged ink

It is there, you will see

My pain, my hurting

Come home soon

For this is your home

I write not about the walls

I talk of my heart
