Another case for Mr. Holmes to cast his trained eye over...

I stood at Stonehenge, admiring the stones

Felt there was mystery and summoned Sherlock Holmes.

With pipe in his mouth, he strolled the surrounding grass

Stepped nearer to the monument, holding up his magnifying glass.

"What we have here is something quiet old"

his eyes twitching as he breathed in the cold.

"It seems to have been here for at least 4000 years

Was probably erected to ward off demonic fears."

We sat and discussed with long haired neo druids

Lit fires, burnt marshmallows told stories to their kids.

"So UFO's have probably never landed here?"

I inquisitively asked, sensing one hovered near.

Mr. Holmes, placed his hand in the pocket of his coat

Unfolded the piece of paper and read the inked note.

"There have been sightings of fast clouds that occasionally glow

But according to my findings I can unequivocally say...No"

The ghost of Sherlock Holmes

evaporated pretty fast

No mystery here.

Just a place of worship from the past
