The Poetry Factor Competition

I guess its about appreciating the night sky and blessing the existence of our forever locked satellite. What if the moon, her reflection stolen by murky water unknown, never returned..

A midnight owl quotes a weary tune

Reluctantly a puddle releases the moon

Exits damp but soon will dry

Reclaim his royal perch in the sky

Silence falls as the disc so bright

Litters space with many dots of white

Nocturnal eyes can only stare ~ As shooting stars decorate the air

Bloated clouds with velvet trim

Allow the orb to colour their skin

Golden flakes dance wild on the breeze

Fallen fine dust patterns the trees

Worth considering is a night sky blank

A watery hole keeping the image she drank
