A feeble orange flame, seconds from being smoke

Flickers, excited upon a thick film of warmed oil

The air waits still celluloid moments spill

Upon a single frame fate surrenders to capture

A negotiated ransom pulls at atomic muscles

Tightens, frightens but ultimately structures fall

The days skeleton, random soaked minutes

Will suffer the first waves of the mafic stream

White hot lava boils the once mild air

A flock of scared birds silhouette the cardinal sun

As all goes dark and justice falls extinguished

Boxed portions of doubt fall from the unhealthy stack

Uprising thwarted

The time for change........not now
