The curtain of night, although pulled tight

Over a million random piercings let in light

A large white button longs to escape

Freedom to roam the heavy drape

Soon to be eclipsed by mornings cloud

I chalk my thoughts on the blackened shroud

The words I write upon the scrim

Simply ask....”Where did it all begin”

According to Ben Elton we are all being blown out the butt of Gigantic space Elephant: one of the many theories I tend to sway towards.lol
I like the use of chalk ..its temporalness in harmony with the universe. Like scrawling worries in the sands and watching them fade .

Yeh Chalk is pretty harmless, it was my intention to explore who was behind the curtain but left as a short punchy poem.

This is magic ^-^

As I said to my bro, the roughs were longer than this and explored who was behind the curtain. The grand wizard as it was in Oz or maybe just a guinea pig running around a wheel, which ultimately controls everything.

if we knew every beginning of every great creation... would we still admire it so much??
great poem
