A perfect circle

from afar

Burning white

my little star


Upon paper

I write a wish and prey

Tilt my head

and send her way


She is kind

views this planet blue

Smiles and grants

my demand true


On fire,

my sun far away

Lends light to my smile

every day


Using magnification

to scan the skies above

Her location reveals

a�waxed pearl of love


My faraway jewel

emitting hope

Captured glory

in the lens of a scope


My gaze of gratitude

travels the night

Helps her to shine

forever bright
