It happened for the first time, and he was not only gorgeous but all mine.…

It took him a long time maybe a while, but baby, honey, you got style….

It didn’t take long for you to choose; now I understand why you couldn’t lose….

You wanted to protect me, did what you want to keep me safe….

But honey don’t you see?

I’m stronger than most, I had a lifetime to conquer…..

My fears…. My rejections…. My torment….

My tears…. My reflection….. My life….

But when I’m with you…. everything changes,

Everything seems different….

My fears are of losing you

My rejection is not being good enough for you

My torment …. Is for me and not you

My tears are all for you

My reflection is not for me but you

My life is living it for you….

You make my life mean something….

If not for me then for you….

You took the risk for me time and time again….

And am soo glad to call you my boyfriend….

It’s taken a century, to get where we are….

But don’t worry babe the end is not far…

I’m glad you chose me for your first

GOSH I don’t know what to say….?

I feel privileged I feel loved…..

And I want you to stay….

 

I never knew there would be a better tomorrow

But you've come into my life and taken away all my sorrow

 

My days of sadness are a thing of the past

Because I have found true love at last
