It was a very lazy summer night and i was feeling creative, so i wrote this little piece about a statue i saw in one of my art books.

Matchless as the moon and stars combined

She is every bit the artists pride

Carved out of the whitest marble

Each chip perfectly aligned

Forms a goddess, fair as a rose

Gently subtle and curved

Poised in every which way

She is the artist’s greatest one

Venus, goddess of love
