My best friend, which is you,
In the stillness of sleep.
Wrapped around my form,
Is the body of you, in the air.
Between the Heaves of the storm,
And breaths gathering sway.
for the last onset, before we sleep,
Be witness to you're power.
I willed you my heart, you took it.
What portion of me, could I
Make attainable?
And then interposed wakefulness of us.
With blue eyes, uncertain, a steady gaze.
Between the darkness and me;
Between the light and me,
Between both-is You.
For what ever covers my sight,
I will always see You.
