By you're sleeping form,
I set here watching, entranced.
I begin to shiver, even though
The night is warm.
How could I go on, I can't imagine.
If I awoke one morning, and would find you gone.
My feelings I should declare to you, I know.
But I hesitate, the reaction may not be what I seek.
I lay here, and you sleep my blue-eyed friend.
Hoping soon the day will come, when I summon the courage.
To let you know, of these feelings that I keep.
