Whats up, whats happening on the street
Just lost a very special sista
Whitney forever may you rest in peace
Death is an emotional setback
Especially when its our loved ones
Who gatheres us here all dressed in black

Afraid of death kind of
They say I should go to church more
But it still has me wondering
What awaits me in the sky above
Death is an unexpected moment that can happen instantly
With the grim reaper ready to take us willingly

But I await the day I meet the man in the clouds
For when I leave this judgmental world
HE would be the only one who could judge me now
Like my dad say count your blessings
And count what good you have done
For it determines your fate: hell or kingdom come

I stand tall bible in hand
For its my greatest weapon against the devil
And the very book that holds all answers to man
Yet im not perfect, nobody in the world is
But im going to live until I die
With dreams of paradise making it all worth it
