Life Similies/Metaphors #6

We are all present day slaves

Slaves of the mind

Attracted to whatever glitters and shines

Worried about having the latest of technology

The latest apps: facebook, instagram, twitter

I follow you, do you follow me?

But what about the slaves of everyday life?

A single mother who has to play mother/father/husband/wife

The family who fears of losing all that they own

Or the parents who said their final goodbyes

And sent their child on home

We complain about what he got, she got, and they got

And what we do not have

Instead look at whats in front of you

Family, Friends, and your Future

For that... Be glad!
