Longing To Be Heard

This is for words left unsaid 

The thoughts I wanted to say out loud but always kept in my head 

I been silent for too long and it's time for you to listen 

Yea you heard the chorus but you didn't hear the one voice that was missing 

Yea it was mine 

Quiet for far to long, now im ready to shine 

No more being afraid of others opinions 

Last I cheked this my life that I'm living 

Tired of being the shadow looked down on 

I want to be the giant thats always looked upon

No longer do I want to be the caterpillar trapped in its chrysallis 

I'm going to break out my cocoon, be free, and nothing less

Can I really do this? As I stand atop of this building 

I been waiting for this so long so why push away this feeling 

I want to change, I want to be more 

Well here I go: I'M ON TOP OF THE WORLD!!! HERE ME ROAR!!!
