Revelations of Love

Poetry By: SGBanks

I believe we all have made mistakes in our lives that we wished we could take back, but we should learn to love one another for our past, present, and future

Revelations of Love

Is love what I want?

Or the guarantee of being loved?

Not just for who I am, but for who I was

Cause for who I was

Made the man that stand before you

I wish I could see myself through your eyes

Through your point of view

Am I just another male or am I above standards?

Above expectations to the point of

That my existence is love

From the way I dress to the way I speak

To the things I know, to the things I could teach

Love my personality, love my drive

The outside may not be pretty

But you would be in awe if you saw whats on the inside

Man: I know my past is not perfect we all make mistakes but it's those mistakes that make us who we are today. I stand before you here as me and only me. I'm not going to change who I am for your acceptance... If you love me for me then accept me, cherish me, and love me for my past, present, and future...
