They cry silently at night
So silent that no one can hear them
Not even theirselves for that matter
They cry cause the walls never stop shouting
They cry cause I can't help the ones I care most about
They cry over regrets and broken promises
They cry for the people who fight to hold back their tears
When they know they just want to let it all out
Most of all...they cry cause they feel powerless
Once I looked into someones life throught their eyes
I saw what they saw
I felt what they felt...Yet
No matter how much I understand them
No matter how much we understand each other
We still feel helpless at times
But I say continue to be there for that person
Let them know your someone they can run to
Be that shoulder for them to cry on if need be
Cause in the end your helping them more than you know
Family, friends, or someone who needs to be touched
Tell them to dry their tears
For they will never be alone
You will always be right there
