Why Do We Write?
We write to express who we are
To be that person who we are on the in but not on the out
To make our muted voices heard even when people dnt want to hear them
To connect with people
To relax and take your mind off everyday stress
To enter the confines of our mind to escape the real world
To figure out who we are when we really dont know
To be that great and famous writer
Writing could be that best friend who we can tell all our secrets too
The weapon we use instead of our fist
Writing can be our drug
Yet the best of medicine
Everyone's reason for writing is different
As long as our passion for writing is there
May it shine so bright that it put stars to shame
